Hello,
I was really hoping I wouldn't be here again. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021 I had a lumpectomy and full lymph nodes removal under 1 arm. This was followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy, aswell as Tamoxifen for 5-10 years.
I recently had some bad stomach bloating which was put down to IBS after doing bloods an stool samples etc
The GP agreed to refer me for an ultrasound and transvaginal scan to make sure nothing was missed, on this scan they have seen my womb lining is 19mm which is much higher than what they would expect it to be. Iv been on tamoxifen since early 2022 so the GP said it should be no more than 5mm thickness.
GP has now done a 2 week referral to look more closely an do biopsies, he has confirmed they are looking for endometrial cancer.
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm hoping/praying that there's a simple explanation for this and it's not cancer back again!!
