Prodiminant Multi-lobulated lesion on breast ultrasound report on nhs app, is a cancerous lesion usually multi lobulated ? Multiple biopsies were taken

As the title says the report has come on my nhs app regarding the breast ultrasounds I had on the 26th of April, they found two lumps of concern and one says it is multi- lobulated and predominant in the subareolar region.

What's the likeliness of it being cancerous ?

I still do not have the results of my biopsy  yet  and I have an appointment next week.

Thanks!

  • It also says it was still visible after the biopsies were taken , what does this mean ?

  • Hi Natz2345,

It's good to hear that you have an appointment coming up soon - this will of course be an opportunity to ask any questions you have.

Unfortunately I'm not able to advise on your questions, but if you feel you'd like to talk to someone ahead of your appointment, you are welcome to speak to our nurses. You can either do this by posting in the 'Ask the Nurses' section of this forum, or by calling freephone 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5 (excluding bank holidays).
