Hello, 

I've recently noticed some changes in my breast - bit painful, lumpy and dense bits, so went to my GP who was great and put me on the 2 week wait suspected cancer Pathway. All fine, felt like I could cope with a 2 week wait. But then my appointment has come through for 4 weeks time - which I had a little wobble about as this just seems so long. 

1. So I called the clinic, who were lovely (although I find the fact the they answer the phone with 2 week wait, suspected cancer clinic not particularly helpful!) and they are just in so busy at the moment. 

So now considering private as it just seems so long to wait. No sure how I feel about private healthcare.  Can anyone share any experience they have had going private? Should I keep my NHS appointment?
