  • Hi Kate032210,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I can understand your worries, particularly with what you mention about your mum, and I know it's never easy dealing with this kind of uncertainty. However you certainly won't be wasting a doctor's time, and they would always prefer people made appointments to discuss concerns.

Do make an appointment if you haven't already, as the doctor will be best placed to advise, or at least to offer reassurance.

    Wishing you all the best,

  • I know you might be scared but it is better to know what it is asap, it might be nothing or it might be something, if it is nothing that would be great news if it's something then the quicker they catch it the better the outcome tends to be.  It's what the GPS are there for, so I would advise contact them asap and then you can face it head on and once you know what it is, it can help to reduce your anxiety.
