Hi all, I’m totally new here but so very scared. I was diagnosed with pneumonia in January then went for X-ray mid march and was called for a ct scan, I had that done which showed a collapsed lung, the dr said he didn’t think there was any cancer but wanted to do a bronchoscopy, I had that done last Friday where he had to take biopsies. When finished he said he could see a mass on my left upper lobe and thinks it’s cancer maybe about 2cm, he said he didn’t think it’s anywhere else as nothing showed on ct scan , tomorrow I go for a pet scan and I’m so nervous and very very scared that I’m going to be given a death notice has anyone else had anything like this.
