Lump/ by knee / distal femur

Hi all

a little advice , but I have a lump/ bump on my knee on the outer part of it just above around the distal femur section. 
waiting for a appointment but just wanted to some advice as what this could be , if this location. 
I suffer with health anxiety and Google is not helping.
