No pictures are allowed here. I take it you've been assessed by a gp? If not, no one can diagnose based off a picture anyway. I had something that strongly resembled a nodular melanoma last year and even the nurse who saw it wasn't happy about it. 2 seconds after the dermatologist doing her thing, it was a burst blood vessel that can happen. That's why posting pictures ain't worth the hassle or worry.
Hi Steve,
My hubby has had a number of skin cancers removed in the past year. The first step is to see your GP. If they suspect that there could be anything untoward, they will refer you to a Dermatologist or a Plastic Surgeon. If they suspect anything, they will carry out a biopsy and this is what determines whether or not there is any cancer present. Unfortunately, you cannot post photos on the forum, but it is not always possible to make a diagnosis solely on this basis. Only the biopsy will determine the proper outcome.
Are you concerned about a lesion? If so please start the investigation as soon as you can. Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
