Non visible blood in urine - very high result

Hi,

Just after some advice, similar experience if anyone has the time to share.

My partner woke up about 5 weeks ago with terrible stomach, upper abdomen pain to the point of tears but it passed by the end of the day. She had some bloating too and some mild back ache. This was on a Saturday so contacted GP on Monday who asked to see her immediately. GP wasn't really sure what it could be but wanted to rule out several things so asked for urine, stool and blood samples. Urine came back with a high reading for blood, for context 4 and under is normal, anything over is abnormal and her reading was 1200. From here she had to do another urine sample to confirm the dip one (which it did) and has been told she has been referred for an ultrasound (still waiting for date but should come through anytime now) stool sample has returned fine.

Been nearly 3 weeks since the blood test, we have chased again today and a few hours after finally got a text from the doctor asking to make an appointment, first available one is end of next week. However, no indication given why, the surgery keep saying the bloods aren't back, but I am pretty convinced they are. I am aware that they can be withheld but I thought if the patient asked for them they have to release them?

I am getting slightly concerned now, I'm staying positive because I don't want my other half to worry but it's hard when there is no indication of what's going on or it appears we aren't being told everything.

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Thanks in advance
