I saw my GP yesterday who referred me for the 2 week pathway. I've had unusual bleeding for a month but put it down to perimenopause. (Im 48,) )My doctor did a cervical exam and found my cervix very red and ulcerated. I am currently a nervous wreck and googling symptoms. I just can't think of anything else. I had a smear last year which showed I was HPV positive but no abnormal cells. Just panicking out loud. Sending strength to all those who may be going through the same xx
