It is normal to be worried and any mole you are worried about which you think might be suspicious, don't hesitate to bring it up with your doctor who will be able to tell you whether it needs further investigation or if it is nothing to worry about. Have a look too at our website where you will find pictures of abnormal moles, melanoma and skin changes which will give you a little guidance as to what to look out for.
You are not alone and many people on our forum come here because they are worried about melanoma and unusual looking moles. It's always best to err on the side of caution and have these examined by a medical expert.
