Hi I've had diarrhea for 4 months now lost stone and half in weight and have stomach pain abdomen.  So left it for 3 months having recently lost my stepfather to cancer after nursing him for 9 months. So finally seen GP had fit test came back as 18. So put me on the 2 week pathway.  So hospital have great I've had 2 colonoscopies had abdomen  CT scan and now a thorax CT scan. Endoscopy came back clear took some biopsies and polyps.  I'm under oncology so no just waiting for Scan results.  I'm wondering what is wrong with me and why the thorax CT? I'm worried lost so much family with cancer , I'm only 47 yr male.  What is causing the pain I'm the morning then diarrhea toilet 5 tines then I'm fine usually all day. ? Losing weight and no energy.  That's my story up to know. Like to know anyone going through the same and hopefully some answers soon.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some ongoing health issues and that as a result, you've been through quite a number of different scans and tests while the specialists try to gather all the information they need to make a diagnosis. It's understandable that this is a worrying time for you, particularly as you've not long lost your stepfather. 

    Has the team said when you may have an appointment to discuss the results of the most recent tests? Hopefully, you won't be waiting too long now, and they will be in a position to give you some answers and discuss options to improve things.
