Introduction and Pre-Diagnosis, signs and symptoms of Ovarian Cancer

Hi everyone, I am new to the group and wanted to introduce myself and chat with people going through the same experience as me.

I am currently going through the stages of different tests for possible Ovarian cancer, due to the signs and symptoms I've been having.  Boy, is it nerve wrecking.

It all started about 10 months ago when I started to feel sick after eating, especially if it was a big meal.  It wasn't normal nausea more like hungry sickness, but I couldn't of been hungry as I'd just ate.  I would eat a pancake or dry bread, and for some reason this would help ease it.  This has gradually gotten worse with time, bread doesn't work, and I take pains in my back tummy as well.  I then started to have an urgency to go to the toilet, it was like my brain only new I needed to go to the toilet at the last minute, and it's all rush to get to the loo, resulting in accidents at times.  Then my lower back got sore, especially when sleeping, I'd wake and my back would be sore because I needed to go to the toilet, once I got up and passed urine my pain would ease, not go away but ease. I knew this pain must be related to needing to go to the toilet.  I started to take pain in my pelvis too and into my hip, shooting pains and a dull ache for the last two months which was worse during my period.  My groin would feel heavy and sometimes under my arms feel like my lymph nodes are up, but they would go down again. My boob's hurt like hell all the time, not just when my period is due, and I was never like that.  To put it kindly, I need rubbed out and drew again.

I went to my GP in March as everything was getting worse.  She took bloods, and told me she would check my CA 125 level.  I got a phone call from her the next day to say it was 198, the range is 0-35 and therefore she was referring me urgently for 2 ultrasounds, one being an internal.  I went for that last Tuesday and it has shown what looks like a cyst on my left ovary or in the tube, it wasn't clear, and swelling, and they couldn't see behind it.  My GP then referred me urgently to Gynaecology Oncology and I received a phone call today to go to an appointment on Monday 7th.  Everything is moving quickly which I am very grateful for as my nerves are wrecked.

Has anyone had a similar experience and there's been no cancer, and symptoms have been from the cyst? I'm worried due to the CA 125 level of 198.

Sorry for blabbering on xx
