How long does it take from first symptoms of itch and discharge to diagnosis. Must you have biopsy for confirming?
Is it usual to only have the problem with nipple of one breast?

Hi Lisa-Patricia,
A warm welcome to our forum! Our website has a lot of useful information on Paget's Disease and will tell you more about what Paget's Disease is, its symptoms and the tests that are usually involved in diagnosing Paget's Disease and it mentions that "to diagnose Paget’s disease, you usually have a sample of tissue taken from the skin around the nipple. This is a biopsy."
I am not sure whether it usually only affects one breast but feel free to ring our cancer nurses for more information on Paget's Disease or if you have any further questions, the number to call is 0808 800 4040 and their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
I hope that you will also hear from other members of our forum who have had a Paget's Disease diagnosis and that they will be able to tell you more about it.
Best wishes,
Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
