Feeling tired frequently & odd illness symptoms

I’m 22 years old and for the past several months I’ve been feeling unusually fatigued. In the past 3 weeks, I’ve had 3 illnesses. Back to back.
I had a cold, then a stomach bug and now I’ve got some mystery illness which doesn’t make sense. I had body aches and chills last night, woke up this morning and my throat feels a bit tight but apart from that I’m okay-ish. I haven’t left the house and the rest of my household are fine, so I don’t think it’s viral or bacterial.

my mom was a very heavy smoker, smoking up to 60 cigarettes a day. She would smoke inside, I was always breathing in her cigarette smoke. She passed away from cancer when I was 15.
I am genuinely concerned that I could have cancer, I go to bed at night and when I wake up I’ve been asleep 12 hours sometimes. My days just slip away from me, I’m a mother to 2 babies so I cannot live like this any longer. I’ve booked a GP appointment but I wanted to post here as well to get advice/opinions.

  • Hello eajohnson

I'm sorry to hear that you've been feeling so under the weather recently. It sounds like it's been a worrying time for you.

It's good to know that you've already booked to see your GP, and hopefully they will be able to give you some reassurance and set you on a pathway to improving your health.

I do hope that you have some answers soon.

    Best wishes,
