My left breast

Hi everyone, so basically I found a Small lump in my left breast! I thought nothing of it, but as a couple of weeks went by the lump became bigger. I contacted the doctor and he did a home visit As have a lot going on already. He did a full breast examination check on both he felt a lump and has Referred me to the breast clinic. My appointment has come through for the 26th of March. But the an cipation of waiting is absolutely killing me and really messing with my mental health. So basically when you look on all these forums regarding cancer, They tell you the basic tell tail signs of sym oms you could possibly have. Now,I just thought speaking to other people He will possibly going through what I am or actual people who are 100% Going through this. What Symptoms have People seem to tice after finding a lump ect! They’re not always on website and forums, so I thought I would ask someone who could possibly be going through all this and they could give me some advice about their ory, ect.??? I’M ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED TO SAY THE LEAST

  • Hello Rugrats, so sorry to hear what you are going through.......the waiting is awful isn't it?  I was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago after finding a lump.  I had no other symptoms at all......no pain, nothing.  Actually, the only thing that I noticed was that I was feeling extremely tired all the time, but I put this down to the fact that I am my husband's carer and I simply assumed that that was the reason for my overwhelming fatigue.  I'm afraid that no-one on here can diagnose you, only your doctor can do that, and not everyone has the same symptoms.  For example, some folks who get breast cancer notice a pain with it......like I say, we are all different.  If it is any consolation to you, the majority of breast lumps are NOT cancerous, although I would concede that this doesn't mean anything IF you happen to be one of the unlucky ones.  I am not going to tell you "not to worry" because it is obvious (and very understandable) that you ARE worried.  The only thing I can say is that your appointment will soon be here and you will know what you are dealing with, and your medical team will discuss a treatment plan for you.  Do you have anyone that you can talk to?  A family member or a close friend?  Being able to discuss your fears with a loved one can really help at times like this.  I wish you all the luck in the world Rugrats, and please keep us informed, you are in my thoughts and prayers, x
