Breast concern

Hi,

I recently found a lump in my breast while showering and have since seen the GP and been referred to the breast clinic, which is in a week. I also have a slight indentation when I raise my arm, like a small faint line.

I've been there before 3 years ago, in the opposite breast; mammogram, ultrasound, biopsy and clip placement. Fortunately benign.

I'm just wondering if any ladies found that their periods were 'off' before being diagnosed. I'm 45 so probably perimenopausal, but mine have just stopped out of nowhere.

Hoping that the lump is hormone related.

Many thanks
