Hi I am new here, 66 and worried sick. I’ve had reflux and ammonia antacids, endoscopy 20/03 and waiting on ultrasound. Had BC in 2006 and mastectomy. Hysterectomy and ovaries removed 1996, GP has tried to reassure me but I am a wreck

Hello Petal3 and a big welcome to Cancer Chat,
It's normal to be worried with all the issues you have had recently and I hope that you won't need to wait too long for the ultrasound. You've been through a lot in the past decades, with your breast cancer diagnosis, the mastectomy and having had your hysterectomy and ovaries removed. Try if you can not to anticipate the worst as the CA125 can be raised for a number of reasons which are not necessarily cancer. I hope that you get some answers very soon and that it all turns out to be fine. Waiting for results is really stressful and I thought I would share with you these helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news.
Keeping everything crossed for you that you will find out more soon and that it all ends up being nothing of concern.
Best wishes,
Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
