my situation similar although more bowel alongside nausea daily with the physical sickness improving thanks to anti sickness meds & forcing myself to pick small amounts more often daily with less when a main meal. 
some days I fail abysmally only managing very little but plenty of fluid, other days I have found I want to make up for that (not often though). Fluid is key! Water galore…I sip away at sparkling often with squash/cordial to help hot drinks without caffeine nothing too cold either. Haven’t found yet what’s making things worse. 

still under that pathway myself. You will get a call from the team booking another call with specialised nurse. Then after many questions, they decide which tests are best- in my case gastroscopy & colonoscopy first. Some go straight for scans, others have different endoscopic methods.
That side happened very quickly I took the first slot at the further away hospital just to get it done! Within the first week. 
now it’s 2 weeks after that & had to chase to even be found in their system. 
an email came back telling me on Tuesday, the lab already had the report but hadn’t authorised its release yet. Once they had the consultant would be in contact. I hope that’s this mon or Tues as they’re the only days she works!

I am only waiting on 2 samples taken from the colon according to discharge report. 
you can normally find a number for the hospitals urgent 2ww office- that’s what I did initially to make sure they’d received referral.

Nurse rang me on Thursday she asked a few questions then explained the procedure for colonoscopy & endoscopy & said I would get an appointment within the next 2 weeks.Hoping it’s next week as I’m on annual leave.

Ive now got constant upper stomach pain my stomach feels so tender, my anxiety is through the roof.

how are you doing & feeling? I seem to be getting worse but then part of that is the mental worrying lol suffer anyway from severe anxiety so it’s at an all time high again where sadly am back to ag aphobic signs

pain doesn’t help however I’ve battled that for years this lately is very different so more concerning!

you will get a date quickly & can call to check if nothing received after a week for instance- helps make sure plus gently remind not to forget about you

try to keep your chin up- I know… easier said than done!

Hi ,

I’m now having upper stomach pains even left side of my neck & shoulder blade hurt.My toilet habits are changing I went 4 times yesterday but is that with the anxiety I’m not sure.

I hope you receive your results today, do you mange to sleep? I keep waking up several times & I can’t think of nothing else apart from what is wrong with me.

Do you have low iron? I do & it’s been low a few times over the past 2 years but just given iron tablets with no further investigations.

They worried us on sudden anaemia but actually it’s folate levels & could be interconnected with liver function. Sleep varies- this past week depressions increased not blooming knowing & pain is increasing yet opiates bad for bowel problems & likely haven’t helped over the years! 
I’ve already chased to no avail so now for an email asking what’s planned from report results.

i don’t mind now if it’s cancer or not it’s just getting answers to be able to get myself back on track that’s key! 
everyone says it’s the waiting that’s hardest- agreed on that. Just want to feel more myself again-able to enjoy things outside instead of feeling weak it all a struggle & hiding away with social anxiety at its worst again. 

life does like to test us with rollercoaster rides!

so still scared waiting as that’s not said no to cancer & the reports that day stated stay on cancer pathway

my pains getting worse & after yesterday at hospital, as anticipated, today I have been useless again.

just want answers to get some energy back again plus hate being bunged up usually I get the reverse & it’s uncomfortable either way (as I’m sure you know) 

so exhausted but hopefully answers explain that soon. Social anxiety back with vengeance again.

Hi got a phone call yesterday my appointment is next Thursday I’m starting the today.

I’ve started toileting more and I keep checking my poo & I know this sounds silly but my poo has little holes in it, well this is not normal for me also I am very gassy, I had really bad stomach pain yesterday  I almost went to a & e luckily the pain eased off after an hour.

Surely you should hear something this week about your results I hope so the waiting must be so mentally draining, the not knowing is the worst part.
