Hi.

About 1.5month ago, I found a lump in my right breast but more towards the armpit. 

I checked my breasts every month so know this was new. (I had a lump removed at age 19 which was benign and been anxious ever since).

I left it to see if it would go after my period.  I checked it again a week after period and it was still there, just not as firm feeling. I noticed again last week that it was larger before period so I made an appointment with my GP, genuinely thinking they'd tell me if was nothing.  I saw the practice nurse this morning who seemed pretty concerned and said i needed referral as it was a swollen auxiliary node/gland. 

I've now spent the last half hour on my bedroom floor, sobbing because I stupidly googled swollen auxiliary in armpit and have just scared my self rotten and convinced myself this is probably cancer. 

I'm trying to give myself a pep talk but I really feel off about it. 

She said it could be up to 8 weeks before an appointment comes through for me which Is going to drive me.mad waiting for. 

Just wondering if anyone else has had anything similar?

I just turned 34 so hoping it's hormone linked but at the same time, know that armpit lumps aren't great .
