During the past few weeks I had one occasion where I used the toilet and was alarmed to see the bowl full of bright red blood, my stools were also very dark brown, almost black. More recently when I scratch myself or have a small cut it bleeds excessively and for a long time. I have a constant knowing pain in my lower left abdomen and sometimes my pooh smells odd, with a slightly sweet smell. Could these be signs of something to do with cancer?
