A little bit scared

I’ve had a chesty cough and crackle since the beginning of the year.  Went to the doctors and was given anti-biotics, had to do a sputum test which came back clear.  I’ve had no other symptoms, not lost any weight, no coughing up blood.  I’m tired because I work 3 jobs and never sleep well anyway.  I don’t have pains anywhere, no real shortness of breath.  I feel fine in myself.  Things mostly feel like a really phlegmy cold, as things have moved up to my noses and sinuses.  My doc wants me to go have a chest X-ray and it terrifies me, what they might find.  It did occur to me there’s mold in my bedroom and I work in a sometimes dusty environment.  There are so many things it could be…I’ve never smoked though my parents were heavy smokers.  How do you cope in a situation like this?  Am I seriously overthinking things here?
