Growth on Cervix with Symptoms

I'm just looking for some reassurance or something similar as I'm going out of my mind.

First to say I have fibromyalgia and endometriosis and family history my Auntie on my maternal side had a hysterectomy to find she had ovarian cancer. My mum is one of seven children which 5 of them are girls, every girl has endometriosis and so does me and my sister.

I've also had 2 children and a history of issues with my cervix and having the HPV virus. I always have my pap smears and the last one did come back abnormal with the presence of HPV. At the time of my smear the nurse also made a comment saying 'OMG it looks as though half of your cervix is missing but it's probably just ectropian cervix'. They ran further tests on the sample and they weren't worried and a year later I had a test again and I didn't have HPV.

Also, some random things to note as I have no idea if it matters, my doctors told me I have high cholesterol a few years ago with no follow up and I have no idea why. I was also GBS positive when I gave birth to both my girls and had the relevant antibiotics when giving birth to them. When I have my period my cervix has become extremely painful now to the point where I can't even sit down normally it's so sensitive and painful.

At the start of Dec '24 I didn't feel right and I was on a extremely heavy period with more frequent blood clots and usually but bed bound which is normal, unfortunately. I checked my cervix and found a raised 'nodule' with my cervix having a regular smooth surface. I did call the gynecology dept but they never came back to me, I forgot about it. Checked my cervix again in Jan '25 and the nodule had turned into a larger lump with a third of my cervix bumpy and rough. I went to the GP he refused to examine me but referred to gynea on a 2 week pathway referral. My appointment is on Wednesday but I checked my cervix again and it's become a larger surface area of half my cervix bumpy and rough with the original nodule still present. It feels almost depressed in the area that is rough.

I've been getting unusual discharge yellow like and more than normal, extreme tiredness and I feel lethargic all the time (fibro doesn't help), increased back and pelvic pain as I usually do suffer with that, my bowel movements are irregular changing from being constipated to diarrhea, bleeding from my rectum from fissures when I pass a bowel movement (I've also had this for years but it's got worse), I've had pink discharge a few times and a small bleed after sex once but I've completely lost my sex drive altogether, the last few days I've had this annoying pain in the back on my left leg in a specific spot which comes and goes, pain in my lower abdominal area and increased urination.

I'm so exhausted by all of it I just want it to go away.

Any advice is welcome. I also have no idea what will happen at my appointment, they were very vague when I asked. I thought they would do a test where they put the acid on my cervix but gynea basically wouldn't tell me.

Thank you for reading through my rant!

  • Any help for advice would be great. I've got my appointment today.
