HPV and immunosuppression

I’ve been having six monthly smear and colposcopies based on abnormal cells and HPV present. I take 3 types of immunosuppressants for my transplant.

I had a smear and colposcopy in November and I have a letter to say that the HPV is stil persistent and to go in to discuss treatment options and have a diagnostic loop? 

I’ve had a LLETZ is this the same? I’m not sure what this means and I know it’ll be answered at the appointment but I wondered if anyone had similar or knew what this means

    You will find information on our website on the LLETZ which specifies that LLETZ stands for large loop excision of the transformation zone and this procedure is also known as loop electrosurgical excision (LEEP) or loop diathermy. Our cancer nurses will be able to tell you more and answer you in more detail so don't hesitate to give them a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and they will be happy to talk things through with you so that you feel more prepared for your appointment and know what to expect.
