Tomorrow I am having a biopsy on my thyroid. I have had a scan that showed suspicious nodules. the consultant has already stated that I am having my thyroid removed.
But I am still really anxious..... so many unknowns
I'm so sorry no-one was able to get back to you before you had your biopsy the other day, but I hope everything went according to plan and you aren't in too much pain.
Hopefully some of our members who have had this procedure will be along soon to offer their tips and advice, but if you have any other questions or concerns playing on your mind you're very welcome to discuss them with our cancer nurses. They do have a helpline you can call on 0808 800 4040, but it may be easier for you at the moment to make a new post in their part of the forum called ask the nurses. They're very insightful and will do all that they can to help.
