Heavy bleeding and pain 4 days after Smear Pap test

Is it normal to have this?

is it normal to start to bleed during a smear test? ( the nurse told me that it began to bleed as she took the swab) and the blessings only got worse and with pain.

i am post menopausal and have had bleeding on and off for 2 months

    I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing some heavy bleeding and pain since your cervical screening appointment last week. If you've not already done so then please do give your GP surgery a call tomorrow morning so that they can offer some advice and if necessary arrange for you to see a clinician.
