Benign results, yippee indeed - that's what we like to hear! You must be relieved and reassured and I hope that you are recovering well after the ovarian cyst removal. I can imagine it was a bit alarming for you to notice this black bleeding especially as you are not used to having periods due to the coil. You did the right thing in contacting the surgeon via email and I would follow his recommendations and get in touch with him if you are still noticing this black blood this weekend. It's totally normal in a frightening situation like this, when noticing black blood to be a bit worried and for irrational worrying to take over, but it's important to try not to anticipate what it might be but to leave all this in the hands of the medical experts. If things haven't settled down this weekend, do get in touch with the surgeon as advised and I am keeping everything crossed for you that this is resolved very soon. After all this, you deserve total peace of mind and to make a full recovery after the laparoscopy so I hope that this black bleeding goes away very soon.
