Reputed non medical treatments to help caner patients

There is lots  of information indicating  a wide range of vitamins and various  potions  to help with treatment.

Is there any research  indicating  taking any vitamins, berries  etc.

Is there any evidence that any of such things are benificial  along with nhs treatment.

  • Hi Mistersky,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. We have a section on our website about complementary and alternative therapies, which may be helpful to look through - there is lots of information on there.

We would also recommend that you discuss this with your doctor, particularly if you intend to take any supplements or similar, to be sure that there won't be any adverse affects with regards to your treatment.

Our nurses are also available if you'd like to get their thoughts - you can do this by posting in the 'Ask the Nurses' section of this forum.

    Wishing you all the best,
