Biopsy booked - worried lots of symptoms what else ?

Hey everyone.
new here.

In have a biopsy and camera booked for a week tomorrow.

Im 46. Think I’m perimenopausal. Three kids.

My symptoms have been: bleeding for 3.5 months apart from 2 weeks, pink and brown discharge, 1 x episode of flooding where I had to change my clothes, extreme tiredness in the last two weeks, feeling my cells tingling, dizziness (not anemic or wasn’t in December) last two days I’ve felt really bloated and nauseous on and off, no appitite today, and last four days foul smelling discharge. Also keep passing clots one was table tennis ball sized. Also pelvic and back pain and knees ache, body feels old, dry lips, and a sore lump in breast. Could this be hormones out of balance? I had PMDD 5 years ago and healed it through food and getting out of my relationship!

i had a vaginal ultrasound with BUPA in December and it showed womb lining of 17mm.

had to wait a month for hysteroscopy next week.

could this be endemtriosis or fibroids or polyps?

trying not to think the worst, im mid divorce and two of my kids have been alienated from me so been under a super stressful time.

thanks all. Hoping there’s some guidance and support out there.

i feel like my belly might pop.

sending love and thanks

xx

  • Hello mushroom43_love,

A warm welcome to our forum and I am so sorry to hear you have suffering from all these symptoms - unfortunately no one here will be able to tell you what it might be but it's good that you are having the camera and biopsy booked and it won't be long I hope until you find out exactly what you are dealing with. You are right to try not to think the worst as there are so many things this could be other than cancer and the important thing is that soon you will get a diagnosis and therefore treatment and a solution to these issues which must have been quite hard to bear. You seem to be under a lot of strain and stress with the divorce and what is going on with your kids so I can imagine this is adding to what is already a super stressful time - do talk to your GP while you are waiting for results about how you are feeling and everything you are going through and I am sure they will be able to help.

Other members of our community may have experienced similar symptoms and I hope that they will be along shortly with guidance and supportive words based on their own experiences. The hardest thing in all this is the long wait for answers and we have these helpful tips  to help you cope while waiting for important news.

I am keeping everything crossed for you that it all turns out to be nothing too concerning and that you will feel better soon and will no longer have these symptoms once they have found out the cause and suitable treatment for them.

    Best wishes,
