need advise?

Hi All,

Hope this is OK but tbh I'm terrified...had awful lower back pain, bleeding between my last period and had blood in discharge a week ish ago twice to be exact....my GP examined me yesterday and had trouble finding my cervix. He said it was off to the left and had a lot of discharge going on. I've had "bladder" issues most my life in the form of reoccurring UTIs and I do have a slipped disc in my lower back but hes sent me an emergency referral to colposcopy. I have an appointment on the 21st but I just can't stop thinking about it.....any advise? TIA

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing these issues. It's good that you've had things checked out and that you have the referral, although I know this is also concerning.

    Hopefully it won't be long to wait for you to get the information you need following the appointment. Try to keep busy and focused on other things as much as possible while you wait, to help keep your mind off the worries. I know this can be easier said than done.

    In the meantime if others here have similar experience or advice to share then hopefully you'll get some more replies soon.
