Hi guys, 

Last month I has rectum bleeding for over a week,  everytime I passed stools, advised doctor and have had blood, stools and fit test taken.  i have had sudden urgency to poo for a couple of years now, mainly I can control it but lately not.   so far everything has came back ok apart from blood’s came back low in folate, and have now been referred for a colonoscopy.  I have been advised that I have been noted as high importance but may take a year due to the wait list on the nhs! These last few days I have had vaginal bleeding (my period finished 10 days ago) which is abnormal for me..  I’m just looking advise if anyone has had anything similar? I’m 40 years old, and not sure if I should be pushing nhs to investigate quicker.
