Biopsies and photos were taken from 3 areas.
I have read that results [ in my NNHSarea] are expected in 2-3 weeks...

Hi ,they must have told you they'd found something during the Colonoscopy because that's what they do ,I agree I would give them a call and ask what is happening as that seems a long time to wait without knowing anything .
Hi, thanku for your reply, I was given a report saying 'photos and biopsies taken in three areas' then told 'results will be 14 weeks ' I googled waiting times for my health area and it ranges from 1-2 weeks and 2-3 weeks...
Mind you when I had a Colonoscopy a couple of months ago they took a couple of biopsies which they said they weren't worried about and that it would take about 6-8 weeks however they came back much sooner after a couple of weeks I believe saying they were fine ,so it could be that yours are not being looked at urgently so that's why it might take so long but you might get the results much sooner .
