Armpit lump

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with breast cancer 9 years ago and thankfully after surgery, chemo and radio got the all clear. I have had a wee boy since and haven't looked back.

In the last two weeks I've found a small lump in my left armpit (same side) feels like a pea in a pod as in can feel the line if that makes sense. I've had other wee lumps in years gone past but this feels different.

Anyone a similar experience??

Thanks

  • Hello Rehab2,

It's lovely to hear from you and I am so glad you got the all clear after being diagnosed with breast cancer and had a little boy since - we love happy stories like that!

It can be stressful especially after having been through cancer to find a lump even a small one but it's important  - especially as this time it feels different - to bring this up with your GP - so make an appointment if you haven't done so already to get this little lump checked just for your peace of mind and to make sure it is nothing to worry about.

I hope that you will hear from the experiences of others here who have had a similar armpit lump and that they will come and share their story with you.

Keeping everything crossed for you that it turns out to be nothing of concern.

    Best wishes,
