Hi, I’m in a similar position. GP initially diagnosed haemorrhoids but when I went to see my consultant, he rushed through MRI scan, colonoscopy and biopsy. They have removed the lump they found but I’m still waiting for biopsy results 4 weeks later. Make sure you have plenty of ibuprofen, paracetamol, movicol sachets, high fibre foods, I would highly recommended a rubber ring to sit on. A sitz bath helps a lot. Good luck, just don’t ne afraid to ask for help.
