I am so sorry to hear you are going through this at the moment - it can be a bit scary to be put on a fast track referral for suspected cancer and I thought I would share with you the information we have on our website on your urgent suspected referral. I am so sorry to hear this is affecting your sleep. I know it's easier said than done but try not to anticipate the worst as being given an urgent referral doesn't necessarily mean you have cancer but it does mean you will be seen quicker and that it won't be too long hopefully until you get a full diagnosis. 

It is normal to worry about bowel cancer but try if you can not to think about it until you get a diagnosis and keep away if you can from the temptation to look anything up online - we have helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news. 

If you see that this long wait for a diagnosis is affecting your quality of life and sleep, do talk to your GP about it who will I am sure have some helpful suggestions for you.
