Hi Amanda,
Try not to be too worried if you can. You did well to go and see the ENT about your silent reflux and it must have been something you didn't expect that this cyst was found incidentally so it's normal that it has stressed you a bit but it sounds like he is not worried at all about it as he said it doesn't look suspicious. He seems to be a good and thorough ENT which is why he wants to do this MRI and biopsy just to be absolutely sure and I am keeping everything crossed that the results will confirm what the ENT suspects that it is nothing of concern.
Obviously you won't know for sure or have completely reassurance until you have been through the sometimes long and painful process of waiting for tests and results and it's a time for you when it can be really hard to know how to cope with this anxiety that comes with the long wait and the uncertainty. This is something many of our members will be familiar with and I hope that they will be along shortly to share their experiences with you. I thought I would also share with you these helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for clarity and answers on all this.
Keeping everything tightly crossed for you that it all turns out to be nothing of concern,
Best wishes,
