2 week pathway

Hi Everyone,

I found a lump in my right breast and have a slight nipple indentation, I've also have slightly swollen lymph nodes under right arm. I saw my GP who said the indentation was obvious before she examined me also confirmed lymph nodes were swollen but no lump found. 

I've been referred to the breast clinic on the 2 week pathway. Obviously I am going out of my mind with worry and have googled symptoms etc. the lump is about 1cm so not massive but big enough.

Has anyone else experience the same and was the results a cyst or similar.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some concerns about your breast health. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious but it's good to hear that you've already been to see your GP and that you've been referred to the breast clinic for further investigation. 

    It may help to keep in mind that the majority of people seen at the breast clinic are not diagnosed with cancer so try to keep positive and please avoid searching Google as this won't give you a diagnosis but will leave you feeling more worried.
