Not sure what to think, but slightly panicking

6 Weeks ago had sudden bleeding post menopause, have had ultrasound, hysteroscopy and MRI scan, biopsy is inconclusive because lining is too thick, I am now booked in for a full hysterectomy taking everything out, and having to have CT scan to check upper body, when I looked at my MRI scan report it said FIGO STAGE: IIIC1 but no one has said whether I actually have cancer or not, should I be worried or not

  • Hi glamgran61,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I hope you are getting on OK - I know it's never easy dealing with uncertainty like this and waiting for more information.

It's difficult to advise on your situation - it sounds like they are doing further investigations to find out more. Hopefully it won't be too long to wait before you can find out more and get some answers.

If you have any questions in the meantime, or are concerned about symptoms, do of course give your doctor a call.

I hope that this forum can be helpful for you.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
