Hi all

I am new to this forum but am looking for some advice.  I'm a 68 year old female experiencing some unusual discharge which is sometimes brown and also have painful urination and occasional pelvic pain like a niggle. These symptoms have been going on for around a year and a half. I was previously referred to the hospital but they were unable to carry out a full internal examination due to it being painful so I was given some HRT and heard nothing further. Since then these symptoms have continued so I've gone back to try to see a GP but have managed to see a nurse so far who prescribed some antibiotics in case it's an infection such as BV. I am not sexually active so these symptoms do feel odd and I've tested negative for UTIs. Having done some reading I am concerned that this could be something more sinister such as womb cancer and I'm not sure how to get the GP to refer for further tests. At the moment I am struggling just to see the GP. Any advice would be much appreciated.
