I'm a 62 year old male. I had a PSA test in October and the level was 4.9 .. I've just had another one and its 6.1 and I've been asked to make a non urgent appointment with my GP
I'm anxious by nature and I'm PETRIFIED !!

It's really not that high, that result would be classed as normal at age 70.
The cancer research website explains the PSA range well.
I've seen results much higher.
Discussed with GP and he's suggested referral for an MRI .. got a call within two hours for Urology telephone conversation with nurse ... panicking, my head is spinning !!
So I saw the consultant and he has no concerns as my prostate shows no change to my last MRI in 2019, other than its bigger .. gone from 30g to 55g ... he has however offered a Prostate Biopsy to put my mind at rest
