I'm sorry to hear that you're waiting for some biopsy results at the moment. We know that for many people this period of waiting and uncertainty can be really difficult and it's natural to have questions and concerns. 

The length of time that people wait for results really does differ from hospital to hospital and department to department so there is no  hard and fast rule about who quickly results will be returned and if this means good or bad news. 

The consultant has said 2 to 3 weeks for results so if you've not heard from the hospital within the timeframe then do give the secretary a call to ask if there is an update. Hopefully you will have some news soon.
