I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your Mum earlier this year and that over the past few months, you've now been dealing with some ongoing health concerns. It's obviously been a really difficult time for you and it's understandable that you've been feeling so emotionally stressed and struggling with your sleep patterns. 

It's good to hear that tyou've already seen your GP and that they have arranged some additional tests and a referral. Hopefully, you won't have to wait too long for your appointment and the specialists will be able to give you some reassurance when you see them. 

In the meantime do talk with your GP about your anxiety and sleep struggles. It may be that if you're supported to better manage these issues then you may feel better in yourself.
