I had breast screening last week and have now been told I need to have another mammogram as the result is blurred.im a bit worried and not sure what is means. I’m 72 and have MS
I'm sorry to hear that you are worried about being recalled for another mammogram. Not all imaging turns out perfectly. If the mammogram image is blurred, the radiographer will not be able to determine whether or not there is anything untoward present. It sounds as if your care team are just making certain that they get a clear image before they can give you any results. I know how frustrating it is to have to go through this all again, but it's good to see that your care team are being so particular.
When you have your next mammogram, make sure to ask the radiographer when you should expect your results to be back.
