NO.
It simply means that his case will be discussed by a multi disciplinary team. Specialist doctors, nurses, radiologists and possibly pathologists.
They will look together at the results of any scans or tests that he’s had, decide what to do next and who will be leading his treatment or further diagnostic tests and scans.
This approach means they have all the right people in the same room at the right time.

really appreciate you taking the time to reply. So you can be at an MDT meeting thing and not necessarily have cancer? 

I suppose potentially the bronchoscopy could find something other than a tumour. Just feel really in the dark at the moment. He keeps seeming to get random phone calls from various doctors we haven’t ever spoken to before! 

The respiratory appt isn’t until 3rd December so I’m not sure what happens until then. I suppose we just wait. 

Definitely. For example, I was once told after an MDT that bowel cancer had been ruled out and I’d be treated for ulcerative colitis.
Waiting for a diagnosis can be the hardest time. Hoping for the best but fearing the worst.

Got some info from his most recent CT today but don’t really understand it. 

Prominent reactive lower mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes seen. No pleural or pericardial effusion.

The pulmonary parenchyma shows patchy ground glass opacities in the LLL, linear probably post infective, subsegmental atelectasis seen in the LLL anterior segment.

Trachea and main bronchi unremarkable.

Impression:

LUL atelectasis - probably post infective.

GGO LLL probably infective.

Reactive mediastinal adenopathy.

Follow up imaging post treatment suggested.

he also has elevated CRP of 66. 

I’m guessing you’ve been copied into a letter to his GP, as you’d need to be a doctor to understand that level of clinical detail. 
In your position, I’d contact his GP for a translation to get to the bottom of it.

Yes, it’s the discharge letter from same day emergency care from 15th November. I think he has a GP appt on Wednesday but I’m not really sure what for! 

If you’re worried - ring them first thing. 
Three days is a long time to be worrying. 
Even a telephone consult might help reduce anxiety levels.
