Bone marrow biopsy

Hi I had a bone marrow biopsy on the 24/10/24 to test for types of blood cancers through my Hematology consultant , I have contacted them and they have said the results are back but I need a follow up appointment, does this mean I should worry ? How quickly would they tell me after receiving the results if I have a positive test results, I’m really anxious and the wait is unbearable,

    I’m sorry to hear about what you’re going through and the anxiety this is generating.
     Many people here know how difficult it can be when you’re left wondering and just want answers so I hope you’ll soon get to chat with some of our members.
    As for your questions, it’s hard to say, as each case can be different. Only your doctor will be able to give you a precise answer about your results, as they’ll have the full picture.
