I am so sorry to hear you are going through this scare and had a bleed in pregnancy. It can be really frightening when it happens even if you only just bled once. I think it's good that the doctor is being thorough and I am sure that they will be very careful when carrying out the colposcopy. The combination of health anxiety and those pregnancy hormones is making you understandably very anxious but I am sure you are in very capable hands and that everything will go smoothly for you. 

It's hard to stop one's mind from racing in a situation like this, when you are going through tests and don't understand what is going on and I thought I would share with you our helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news.

I hope this gives you some reassurance. 
I had an abnormal smear when I was pregnant and had a colposcopy. They said I needed treatment and were happy to wait until after the birth.
