Shortie66 - gastric and GOJ biopsies taken during endoscopy

I think I've scared myself to be honest. Last week I had a camera down my throat in to my stomach and small intestine.  At the end of the procedure I was given information of biopsies, pictures etc taken.

I've just read a part that says 'gastric and GOJ biopsies taken'. Please could somebody explain this, and the other information on the sheet?

    Yes it's standard procedure if there are any stomach polyps they have to do biopsies, I had mine done two weeks ago and there were three polyps in the stomach, also I had to have a ct scan as they found a bulge, so I'm bricking it at the moment, I'm sure you will  be fine polyps are quite common in the stomach and they can happen with long term ppi used as well, if you want to message me I'm here for you!
