Lung cancer?

Mum has had a lump in her neck for 10 days or so and her gp has ordered blood tests and chest X-ray tomorrow…she’s a heavy smoker, had back pain for years after a spinal injury and gets out of breath climbing the stairs but her cough doesn’t sound like the cough I recall my husbands gran had and she died of lung cancer…so worried

    I know all the symptoms she's contending with must be such a worry, but I hope it helps to know that so many of our members have been in a similar position with their parents and/or loved ones, so you are not alone Hattie, and I'm sure it won't be long until you receive some support and advice from the community.
