Hi, I am 23 year old female & yesterday my mum noticed a raised mole on my neck that I’ve had since a child that has changed colour. It used to be a pink / flesh colour but now has turned brown / dark red, and there is a bit of dry skin around it. I am freaking out about having cancer & I feel like I’ve only just started my life in the big scheme of things. I am phoning the GP tomorrow but how do I stop myself from thinking the worst as I cannot stop crying. I am worried that it’s been a while since it has changed and only now I have just noticed. The mole hasn’t changed in size & no other symptoms, and is symmetrical as far as I can see.
