about 6 weeks ago I had a suspected melanoma removed. They booked a provisional follow up appointment for this Friday but was told if results or normal they may just call me.

this morning I had a VM left to attend my appointment Friday as all my results were now back. 

should I expect bad news or is this normal procedure? 

has anyone been called back just to be told results are clear?
