I noticed you were having your CT scan today, so I just wanted to wish you good luck and let you know we're thinking of you.

As you say, the waiting really is the hardest part of this process but our community are here for you and I'm sure it won't be long until some of them stop by to offer their support and advice.

If you want to talk any of this through with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

In the meantime, we'll have our fingers crossed the results will bring good news when they come through.

I know these next two weeks are going to be tough Nicnak but we're here for you and I hope the some of the advice given in this article on how to cope with waiting for news will make this time slightly more bearable.

Day 5 and no news has got to be good news
